1. How can I prepare for my move?

The best way to prepare for your move is to relax and understand the we are professionals and we have been doing this professionally for a long time. An important tip is to make sure there is adequate parking for a big truck. Failure to do this can delay the moving process, costing you more money. Other tips are to empty out the refrigerator, the drawers of your dressers, and to empty out any other large storage bins that are heavy. We understand moving can be messy but having your home as clean as possible will ensure the area is safe and best prepared to safely move furniture. Dust and debris can cause movers to slip and fall, so a clean floor can go a long way.

2. What is a Bill of Lading?

A Bill of Lading is a legal document and an agreement between the company and the customers. It details what charges are being charged and there you will find other details such as, the exact total, numbers of hours billed, and extra services purchased if you purchased such services.

3. Can I keep items in my dresser, or should I empty them?

Dressers are heavy by themselves, but with clothes and other items in there it can significantly increase the weight. When we place items in the truck for moving we must think about weight distribution, the force of mass and the pressure caused by that force on items next to it, and the safety of the movers who will be

4. How is the cost calculated?

Cost is calculated by charging a base rate per hour depending on the number of movers that are deployed. Items that cost extra are boxes and dish-packing paper. Some other items such as wardrobes may be charged. Speak with a company representative to confirm.

5. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept only Visa and Mastercard or cash. We don’t take American Express, Discover, or personal check.

6. Will you take my waterbed?

Waterbeds need to be completely drained before we move them. Preferably, they will be drained and 24 hours prior to the move to ensure water has completely escaped the holding chamber.

7. My furniture is very valuable to me, how will you protect it?

Our movers take all the necessary precautions to ensure that your items will not be damaged during the moving process. We will cover tables, couches, dressers, cabinets, etc., with moving blankets and shrink wrap if necessary. The moving blankets are used to protect the item for possible scratches while the wrap is meant to provide increased structural support.
